STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING and go outside! What do you see…Nature? People? Interesting things happening? Well, pull out your camera and get to taking pictures and video. Never miss a moment guys! I learned this the hard way. One of my first jobs as a videographer, my boss was a huge stickler when it came to getting everything on camera. Even if he knew for sure he wasn’t going to use something, he still wanted me to shoot it. I always thought to myself, “Why would I ever shoot something I would never ever think about using?” Well guess what…in the editing process you will be surprised what footage or images you will end up using!
I learned the hard way and rarely left the camera rolling. Then in a split second I missed an unbelievable shot! I was so upset and my boss wasn’t too happy either. The point is, is that you must always leave your camera on and rolling because you never know when something interesting/beautiful might happen!
Every night, I shoot the sunset, why? Because each day it looks completely different. I never want to miss a moment, and neither should you! Stop shooting wrong and start shooting right! Now go out and capture everything you see!
