The era of the drone has finally come. 15+ years ago only the military was able to create such machinery, but now, the average consumer can go to almost any hobby shop or electronic superstore and purchase a drone. But why do we want one? How can we use these machines to better our videos? A few months ago, I was in your shoes, thinking the same thing. “I will never use such technology, drones are not a good investment and can fly away anytime with my money.”
Well, after biting the bullet and fighting my logical side of my brain, my creative side gained control of my PayPal account and I purchased the DJI Inspire 1. As soon as it arrived, I screamed like little kid in candy shop and got it up in the air within the first hour.
Who ever reads the manual right? WRONG!!! Always read the manual, you never know what valuable information you may get out of it.
Ok, on to the good stuff. Drones are a new technology that I believe is a huge breakthrough in today’s cinematography. Imagine a client calling you and asking you if you can film a wedding from the sky…Now imagine saying YES!!!
The fact of the matter is, is that drones will make you more money by letting you offer more services to your clients whilst capturing stunning videos and photos. The word limit will become limitless as soon as you make this investment.
